About Us

Critter Kutz, LLC has been a dream in the making for a very long time.  However, in life, well, life happens and sometimes dreams get put on the back burner.  That is the case with Critter Kutz, LLC.  However, you never know what is going to transpire in life to catapult you into a dream.  My story is bittersweet.  The name of my business is in honor of my beloved brother Chris who passed away recently from brain cancer.  I was fortunate enough to have taken care of him for the last year of his life while he was fighting every day to overcome his battle with brain cancer.  After two brain surgeries and multiple seizures a day for almost a year, my brother passed away.  Chris and I talked before his passing, and he wanted me to fulfill this dream.  So, after he passed away, I decided to hang up my hat as a paralegal after 25 years and go back to school to become an AKC Certified dog groomer.  My nickname for my brother was Critter, and his last name began with a K and fast forward to today and Critter Kutz, LLC is now a Tennessee licensed and insured dog grooming business and a dream that has finally become a reality.  To say I am beyond excited is an understatement.  I absolutely love dogs and dog grooming and cannot wait to groom all of the fur babies that come my way.  They will be taken care of, loved on and lots of hugs and kisses will be part of their grooming process and will be treated just as if they are a member of my own fur baby family.  I look forward to grooming your fur babies.
