At Critter Kutz, our full-service grooming package is simple and all-inclusive which combines the essential hygiene of grooming to a full body hair cut.  The essential hygiene of grooming at Critter Kutz includes a sanitary trim which is shaving the belly and around the rear, ear cleaning which includes removing wax and debris, paw pad trim which is the removal of hair between the paw pads, nail trim which includes clipping and filing, teeth brushing, if requested, and if needed and requested, an anal gland expression.  A full body haircut at Critter Kutz includes a bath with professional grade shampoo and conditioner, a blueberry facial, a blow-out and brush-out which includes removing mats, detangles, and loose hair, and the hair-cut, which includes a full body cut which is an all over hair cut that is customized for each dog based on their hair coat type and the requests of the pet owner on how they like their pup cut.  As a finishing touch, we include a light cologne spritz with a bandana or hair bows

At Critter Kutz, we take puppy grooms very seriously because it is the start of the training process of having a puppy feel safe and secure in an environment that can be very intimidating and overwhelming for a puppy.  Professional grooming should ideally begin between 10 and 16 weeks of age, or once they are up to date on their booster vaccinations.  At Critter Kutz, we strive in making your puppy feel very comfortable during their stay and a puppy groom is also all inclusive.  A puppy groom is very similar to our full-service dog groom, which includes a bath and brush out, using a gentle, puppy-safe shampoo and conditioner as well as gentle brushing tools.  We will include a sanitary trim, feet and paw pad trim, face and visor trim, nail trimming and ear cleaning.   However, it may take a few visits with your puppy before your puppy is comfortable having a full groom.  We will not overwhelm your puppy, as our goal is to train your puppy over several visits to get used to the entire grooming process.   At Critter Kutz, we offer a Puppy’s First Dog Groom package which includes the above, a First Groom Certificate and a photo.
